We invite you to spend an evening with a breathtaking cinema telling the story of the events in the former Japanese consulate in Kaunas, known as the "House of Hope", which is now home to the Sugihara House Museum.

American director Cellin Gluck's 2015 feature film, starring Japanese film stars Toshiyuki Karasawa and Koyuki, whose popularity in the Land of the Rising Sun is second only to that of James Bond, tells the story of what happened 80 years ago in Kaunas.

Chiune Sugihara, who saved six thousand Jews from the Holocaust during World War II, is also known as the Japanese Schindler. But not everyone knows that he was also a talented intelligence officer. Despite the personal risks, he bravely used his knowledge of foreign languages and his talent as an intelligence officer in various countries.
